On March 14, Sunshine Coast RCMP successfully recovered four golf carts after executing a search warrant without incident at a property in Sechelt.

The golf carts were reported stolen from the Lower Mainland and as a result of a joint-police effort, they were located and secured, ready to be returned to the business, said an RCMP press release.

According to Sunshine Coast RCMP Staff Sgt. Jennifer Prunty, the officers acted quickly upon receiving the information, which led them to the location of the stolen golf carts. “The operation was conducted safely and efficiently,” Prunty said in a release.

"Sunshine Coast RCMP detachment remains committed to deterring property crime, ensuring the safety of businesses and the public on the Sunshine Coast,” Prunty added. “The timely reporting of crime allows us to move as quickly as possible to retrieve stolen property and apprehend those responsible for these crimes.”
