Photographer Ken McCann was in Porpoise Bay Provincial Park in Sechelt Inlet, Saturday, June 29 when this pod of between four and five orcas made an appearance beyond Poise Island.
At one point, McCann watched the curious orcas spy-hopping, which he was lucky enough to catch on camera.
McCann first posted his photos on Facebook, which garnered a lot of attention. He also gave the Coast Reporter permission to repost these remarkable photos.
