The Gibsons Curling Club will be the site for a major fund-raising event for this year's Sea Cavalcade.
On Saturday, April 24, the curling club will be the setting for a full day of family events. Doors open at 10 a.m. with events running until 5 p.m.
Enter your dog in the Kids Dog Show. Prizes will be given for obedience and tricks. There will be also be a demonstration class on safety and obedience.
There will be a Heritage Tea and Bake sale to help celebrate Gibsons' 75th Anniversary from noon to 2 p.m. The Golden Girls will be on hand to serve tea and sweet treats for all.
A plant sale will offer all types of perennials and annuals and potted baskets. Make sure to come by and get all your plants for spring planting. There will also be a demonstration on beautiful hanging baskets.
If these events aren't enough to whet your appetite, there will also be a live and silent auction.
This event is a fund-raiser for the Sea Cavalcade weekend, which will celebrate its 36th year this year.
