If you are still waiting for a Telus rebate - rest assured that the cheque is in the mail - and addressed properly.
Telus says a problem with their automated address-labeling system meant several Sunshine Coast customers did not get their rebate cheques.
Telus' media relations' spokesperson Shaun Hall said the company is aware of the error and is doing everything it can to rectify the situation.
"We had a printing error where a couple of lines were left off in the address field with some rural customers," said Hall. We are aware of the error. We have a team that is physically in the mailroom and flagging the cheques that are coming back to us, grabbing them out of the mail stream and getting them re-processed as quickly as we can."The $31 dollar rebates are being sent out due to a recent CRTC ruling.
