Polar Bear Swim - Armours Beach

On Jan. 1, approximately 100 swimmers registered to take a quick dip in Shoal Channel at Armours Beach for the annual polar bear swim, organized by RCMSAR-14. Swimmers lucked out on the weather – no rain and a balmy 5 C.

On Jan. 1, approximately 100 swimmers registered to take a quick dip in Shoal Channel at Armours Beach for the annual polar bear swim, organized by RCMSAR-14. Swimmers lucked out on the weather – no rain and a balmy 5 C. Prizes were awarded for best costume and Tim Hortons provided hot chocolate.
