The Painted Boat Resort and Spa in Pender Harbour has been named one of the top 25 hotels in Canada by the travel website Trip Advisor.
Trip Advisor chooses its top 25 lists each year in a variety of categories including hotels, all-inclusive resorts and restaurants, based upon user comments and ratings from the previous year.
In 2016 on Trip Advisor, guests regularly rated the Painted Boat at five stars and said things like “awesome value for the money,” and “our room and view were wonderful.”
Of 291 reviews on Trip Advisor, the Painted Boat Resort and Spa had 206 “excellent” ratings and 49 “very good” ratings.
The ratings and reviews earned the Pender Harbour resort 22nd place out of 25 hotels that made the Trip Advisor list for 2017.
First place went to Auberge Saint-Antoine, which garnered 1,381 “excellent” ratings from Trip Advisor users.
Trip Advisor boasts as being “the world’s largest travel site,” carrying over 435 million reviews and opinions from travellers around the world, making its top 25 winners the best by the public’s standards.
The Painted Boat also has a bit to brag about, offering relaxing spa services and unique accommodations overlooking the ocean on its five-acre resort in Pender Harbour.
Each of the 31 spacious villas at the resort feature Canadian-made furnishings, a full kitchen and two bathrooms.
