Family, friends and supporters of Myles Gray came to a memorial for him on Aug. 13 in Sechelt.
Gray, a 33-year-old Sechelt man, died after an altercation with Vancouver police in Burnaby last year.
The memorial date marked one year since Gray’s death, and his family and friends took the opportunity to raise a banner in his honour and hold signs along the highway in Sechelt to help raise awareness about the incident that is still being investigated.
