A construction worker who fell through a skylight on Monday, July 4, while working at former Premier Gordon Campbell's vacation home in Halfmoon Bay has died of his injuries.
WorkSafe BC and the coroner confirmed the death on Wednesday. The man's name has not been released.
WorkSafe BC is investigating the accident and are not commenting any further.
The Campbell home was vacant at the time of the accident, which occurred in the early afternoon. The victim was medi-vaced to hospital in Vancouver with serious injuries following the accident. The worker was doing some remodelling on the property when the accident occurred.
