Cleanup is underway after a logging truck trailer overturned at the corner of North Road and Highway 101 in Gibsons.
Dozens of logs spilled onto the road and Heritage Playhouse lawn. Capilano Highways got the call about the incident at around 12:45 p.m.
The highway is closed and traffic is being rerouted up Park Road and along Reed Road toward the ferry. The ferry, however, hasn't been running since before 9 a.m. this morning because of mechanical issues.
Emergency personnel were on the scene. BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) was called at 12:36 p.m., and two paramedic units responded, communications officer Jane Campbell told Coast Reporter.
"There were no serious injuries and no one was transported to hospital," she said.
