Inquiry goes overtime

A continuation has been ordered in the preliminary inquiry of Richard William Peers, 24, of Sechelt and Mark Anthony Harding, 21, of Powell River. Both face charges of murder in connection with the death of James Moss.

Both face charges of murder in connection with the death of James Moss.

The preliminary inquiry, which was held Aug. 29 to 31 and Sept. 1 to 2 in Powell River provincial court, was not completed in the time allotted. A continuation of the proceeding has been ordered to begin Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Moss, 51, was found dead in his home on Jan. 30. Police say he was the victim of a violent murder during a home invasion.
