The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) parks and recreation division is holding a free sports equipment and outdoor clothing fair.
If you have clean, high quality sports and outdoor gear that you don't need or want anymore, consider donating it to the free gear fair set for Saturday, May 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gibsons Elementary School (GES).
Clean, high quality items such as good raincoats, pants, sleeping bags, tents, flashlights, back packs, bags, bikes, boots, balls, hula hoops, skis, skates, small boats, tennis racquets, soccer cleats, hockey sticks, etc. are all needed.
You can drop off donations from April 22 to May 6 at the SCRD parks and recreation Elphinstone community office, the Roberts Creek Community School office, the SCRD office in Sechelt and the Chatelech Sechelt Community School office. Last minute gear drop-off will take place on May 7 between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. at GES.
