ETHOS Career Management Group is excited to introduce the launch of Experience Works-mobile to four new locations in B.C., including the Sunshine Coast.
The program will be offered on the Coast in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Employment Cen-tre and M. Magas and Asso-ciates Inc.
Experience Works-mobile is a six-week employability program that has been designed to assist unemployed Canadians between 50 and 64 explore career directions that will lead to sustainable employment. The program will assist 100 participants at the various locations over a 12-month period. Experience Works-mobile includes an initial assessment designed to guide participants with the management of next steps in their career path. Other activities include individual counselling, job coaching and group workshops to assist participants to fully understand the options and advantages of being a mature worker, as well as the assistance of a job coach to facilitate the process of connecting with employers through job shadows, employer presentations and networking. ETHOS has a solid history of offering effective and relevant programming to the communities of B.C. and is considered to be an industry expert in working with older workers.
