1:10 p.m. update
BC Transit issued an alert just after 1 p.m. stating that buses are back on schedule. Google Maps is also showing no delays between Gibsons and Sechelt.
BA Blacktop superintendent Chris Riczu told Coast Reporter the company was doing asphalt patching to restore a trench back to ministry specifications, which required milling the lane out on either side of the trench and some paving. The work took approximately four hours on June 7. No additional work is scheduled for that area, he said.

The riders on the bus may be waiting, waiting, waiting today.
BC Transit issued an alert just before 10 a.m. Tuesday morning to notify passengers that construction on Highway 101 near Selma Park may cause delays between 20 to 30 minutes, and may last until 4 p.m.
"These delays may affect your trip planning," BC Transit's notice said.
One commuter told Coast Reporter they'd been in stop-and-go traffic since 9:45 a.m., and it took 20 minutes from Mission Point Park to reach halfway down the Davis Bay seawall. Another 20 minutes later, they were in traffic at the top of the hill leaving Davis Bay, but had yet to reach the construction.
DriveBC's map showed heavy traffic between Field Road and Wharf Avenue affecting both lanes of traffic, but mostly for the northbound lane.
