Several drug-related charges are pending against two local men following a bust in Gibsons this week.
On Nov. 25, Sunshine Coast RCMP executed a search warrant on a home on Gibsons Way.
"Inside the residence, a hidden room was located that contained a cannabis marijuana grow operation," said Const. Shaun Foley in a news release. "Approximately 40 marijuana plants were seized, all of which were in the early stage of production."
Foley said a quantity of dry marijuana bud in excess of one pound was seized from the residence.
Charges are pending against an adult male for production of a controlled substance, and charges are pending for another adult male for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance.
