Sunshine Coast RCMP are requesting the public's assistance with a recent theft.
According to Cpl. Steve Chubey, on Oct. 28, two teenage boys were caught on video running from Trail Bay mall after stealing an iPhone 4 from the Telus Store.
"It is suspected that one or both of the suspects had attended the store earlier and cut the wire to the demo phone triggering an alarm which prompted the suspect to run off," said Chubey. "The suspects returned shortly after and stole the phone which was no longer secured to the table. The males are described as First Nations, between 17 and 19 years of age.

Suspect sought in Bargain Store theft
On Oct. 27, RCMP attended the Bargain Shop in Gibsons after a male suspect stole a doll house from the store.
"Employee's confronted the suspect as he was getting into a red 2003 Ford Windstar and retrieved the item," said Chubey. "The suspect is described as East Indian male, 25 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, skinny, with curly black hair, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
