Join Wayne Lutz of Powell River Books for an entertaining evening of photography and stories when he presents his slideshow Boating the Strait of Georgia at the Gibsons and District Public Library on Thursday, July 31, at 7 p.m.
Lutz is the author of a series of books celebrating the beauty of the environment and the eccentricity of the inhabitants of coastal B.C. These stories of boating, hiking and biking from Gibsons to Desolation Sound reflect unique lifestyles where the focus is on self-reliance, ingenuity and harmony with nature, lives led with a different sense of purpose.
