Just before 3 p.m. Monday, BC Ferries posted on Twitter that its website and app were restored to service after being down for much of Victoria Day.
The outage saw the online ferry services inaccessible during a historically busy travel day.
The ferry service posted to Twitter at 9:30 a.m.: "An IT outage is impacting access to our website, app & call centre. We have identified the issue & we are working on restoring service as quickly as possible. We apologize to our customers who have been impacted, this morning. We will continue to provide updates here."
