BC Ferries cancels two Sunshine Coast sailings Tuesday

BC Ferries has cancelled two Sunshine Coast sailings of the Queen of Surrey Dec. 17 because of mechanical difficulty with the ship's pitch control.

BC Ferries has cancelled two Sunshine Coast sailings of the Queen of Surrey Dec. 17 because of mechanical difficulty with the ship's pitch control. 

Cancelled are the:

1:05 p.m. departing Langdale
2:10 p.m. departing Horseshoe Bay

Sailings are expected to resume with the 3:15 p.m. departing Langdale and 4:20 p.m. departing Horseshoe Bay, according to a service notice. 

"For those customers travelling on to Powell River today, this cancellation is not expected to impact your ability to travel on the Earls Cove (Sechelt) – Saltery Bay (Powell River) route today," said the notice.
