BC Ferries cancels multiple sailings between Westview and Comox

Vessel will not sail due to severe weather forecast for afternoon and evening

BC Ferries has announced the cancellation of two round-trips between Little River (Comox) and Westview (Powell River) terminals.

"To ensure the safety of our customers and crew, the following sailings must be cancelled for today, Thursday, September 26, as a result of Environment Canada’s severe weather forecast for high winds in the Northern Vancouver Island region," stated BC Ferries.

The cancelled sailings are as follows:
3:25 pm departing Little River
5:15 pm departing Westview
7:10 pm departing Little River
8:45 pm departing Westview

Customers affected by these cancellations, we will have their fees/fares refunded, according to BC Ferries.
