BC Ferries has announced the cancellation of three round trips between Sechelt (Earls Cove Terminal) and the qathet region (Saltery Bay Terminal) on the second weekend in December.
The following sailings will not run in order to facilitate a required regulatory survey and maintenance schedule for Malaspina Sky, according to BC Ferries.
Saturday, December 11, departing Saltery Bay at 7:55 pm and the return trip from Earls Cove scheduled to leave at 8:50 pm.
Saturday, December 11, departing Saltery Bay at 9:45 pm and the return trip from Earls Cove scheduled to leave at 10:40 pm.
Sunday, December 12, departing Saltery Bay at 7:30 am and the return trip from Earls Cove scheduled to leave at 8:25 am.
The cancellations are necessary to complete the reinstallation of a thruster and removal of a service generator, according to BC Ferries.
