A summer solstice season finale

The community is invited to join us for a grand finale party to celebrate the first season of Quantum Consciousness in style- and, not incidentally, the 70th anniversary of the consecration of St. Hilda's by the Sea Anglican Church.

The community is invited to join us for a grand finale party to celebrate the first season of Quantum Consciousness in style- and, not incidentally, the 70th anniversary of the consecration of St. Hilda's by the Sea Anglican Church.

The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. on June 16 at St. Hilda's Church in Sechelt. Admission is $10 at the door.

Since beginning last Nov-ember, Quantum Con-sciousness has attracted a wide spectrum of interest and support from the community of the Sunshine Coast across a wide range of beliefs and understanding. The programs, which are designed to raise personal and social awarenessabout the issues facing us as individuals and global citizens, have struck a deep chord with many people. Starting in September, organizers plan to continue to respond to this need for an open forum of dialogue and inspirational gatherings with a performance by crystalbowl musician David Hickey. An exciting new season is already being planned, in line with the goals of informing and facilitating consciousness raising opportunities though such activities as dance, meditation and the power of conscious intent. To facilitate these programs, both for Quantum Consciousness and the congregation, organizers have embarked on a fundraising campaign to enable St. Hilda's to install a state-of-the-art audio/visual system in the church. All residual proceeds from the party will go towards this project, and all additional contributions will be gratefully accepted. Everyone is invited to the party, which will include a labyrinth ceremony andcelebration and dancing in the parish hall, along with the opportunity for quieter communion in the sanctuary.Light refreshments and sangria (both kinds) will be included in the $10 admission.
