Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of March 28!
Kisses to the two women at the local gas station who helped me check my tire pressure and helped add air. This random act of kindness was so appreciated and just confirms that life on the Sunshine Coast is extremely special!
Kisses to the butcher at SuperValu with the tattoos, he is always so upbeat and very knowledgeable, has great recipes for the meat he cuts. And as always excellent customer service especially to us seniors, thank you very much.
Many belated kisses to Wendy without whom I might have starved, frozen and become very discouraged; to Paul who fixed my sagging gate just before a family move; to Dave who always manages to check in despite work across the pond, and a very active family.
Gratitude to the staff at the Sechelt Hospital, especially the nurses and Dr. Nikhil Dewan. The prompt and attentive care I received was incredible, especially when I wasn’t feeling my best. You guys rock!
If you wanna wash all your troubles down the drain, call Sechelt Plumbing. Thank you again!
Heartfelt kisses to those who responded with donations to the Grandmothers and Grandothers/Stephen Lewis Foundation crisis. This plight is caused by the cancelling of foreign aid by Donald Trump. The Coast chapter of the G/G has raised one quarter of a million dollars to help aid in sub-Saharan Africa.
Kisses to the District of Sechelt for always maintaining their portion of the Suncoaster Trail.
Kisses to Brittani Payne who provided fresh muffins and cookies (from Sandy’s Bakery) for the 200 people who attended the St. Bart’s Food Bank on March 19! It was greatly appreciated!
Kisses to the people who leave home early and drive with care to accommodate the spring bush babies who need extra time to cross the road!
