For the second year in a row, local Sweet Adelines chapter Arbutus Sounds Chorus is offering a singing Valentine service for the Feb. 14 holiday.
In 2004 the service was so popular the group was kept busy for three days solid, crooning to 24 surprised and delighted recipients.
When was the last time you took your sweetheart's breath away? For just $30 you can show him or her just how much you care with two songs performed by a quartet or double quartet, delivering a chocolate heart and a Valentine's card.
The two songs, of the chorus' choosing, will be sung in the classic four-part barbershop harmony, with its characteristic and pleasing sound of ringing chords. Bookings can be made for Feb 12, 13 or 14 and can be delivered on the Sunshine Coast at private homes or places of work.
Call 604-886-8816 or email [email protected] by Feb. 7 to book a unique gift that will remembered for a lifetime.
