Phil Callaway, from Laugh Again fame, will appear on the Sunshine Coast May 27 and 28.

Callaway is an award-winning author and speaker, known worldwide for his humorous, perceptive look at life. He is the best-selling author of 25 books including Laughing Matters and I Used To Have Answers: Now I Have Kids. His daily radio program Laugh Again is broadcast across North America, the U.K. and English-speaking Africa, and his writings have been translated into several languages.

Callaway is a popular speaker for corporations, conferences, camps, cruise ships and marriage retreats. He is a frequent guest on national radio and television and partners with Compassion, an international child-development agency. His five-part video series The Big Picture has been viewed in 80,000 churches worldwide.

Tickets for Callaway’s Sun-shine Coast events are available at Laedeli in Sunnycrest Mall.

Topics that Callaway will address during his visit to the Coast include Learning to Laugh When Life Stinks, a men’s breakfast on Saturday, May 27, 8 to 10 a.m. hosted by CLA at 730 School Rd. in Gibsons. Tickets are $10 each or two for $15 for this hilarious and inspirational talk.

On Saturday, May 27, 2 to 4 p.m. is G-A-L-S (Genuine, Amazing, Loving and Surrendered) After God’s Heart, a women’s high tea hosted by Calvary Baptist Church in Gibsons. Tickets are sold out.

On Sunday, May 28 at 10:45 a.m., the message at Calvary Baptist Church of Gibsons will be Raising Your Kids Without Raising Your Blood Pressure. This hilarious presentation offers practical parenting solutions and is brimming with hope.

And on Sunday, May 28, 2 to 4 p.m. at Highland Centre, 657 Highland Rd. in Gibsons is a Couples’ Afternoon Out: Three C’s to a Fabulous Marriage. Tickets are $10 each or two-for-one at $10 a pair. Childcare will be provided at Calvary Baptist Church, 711 Park Rd. in Gibsons from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Marriage is no laughing matter – until now.
