Creating his filigree guitar style on Gordon Light-foot's debut album, Lightfoot, Rea is a thoroughly engaging storyteller and consummate artist - finger style instrumentals to old-time roots standards to deep and syncopated Piedmont blues.
Now living in Portland, Rea came to Vancouver to see his old buddy Lightfoot and honour the Coast with a visit to Roberts Creek Legion this Friday night. Members and guests welcome. Show starts at 9 p.m.; dinner specials from 5 p.m.
