The Truly Nutty Clowns is the next offering for the Pender Harbour Music Society, as they will perform at the Music School on March 25 at 11 a.m.

Nutty Nothing (aka John Conway) is a shy boy, who, while hiding behind his oversized pants, will hold up four fingers and proudly tell us he is five years old. His partner (and partner in life) Truly Wigglebottoms (aka Jill Conway) sees the world through the eyes of a three year old. Together, they engage their audiences in a fresh and playful look at everyday life.

Before kicking off last year's highly successful Sechelt Family Arts Festival, John said about being a clown, "It's not something you choose to be - it is who you are. Clowning brings out your innocence and the innocence of others by taking away the control."

"You come back to your true essence and allow yourself to play," added Jill.

Their program promises lots of audience participation and the opportunity to play, whether you are a kid or a kid at heart. So bring your kids or grandkids to the Pender Harbour School of Music next to the Madeira Park government dock on Saturday, March 25 at 11 a.m. Tickets are $2 for kids and $5 for adults, available at John Henry's in Garden Bay, Harbour Insurance in Madeira Park, Talewind Books in Sechelt and Coast Books in Gibsons.
