Being outside is the safest and healthiest way to return to “normal.”
The hot days of summer are giving way to cooler temperatures so we can walk, run, ride, or stroll our way for one, three, five or 10 km to honour the determination of one of Canada’s heroes: Terry Fox.
Thanks to all who have continued through the pandemic with virtual or solo efforts to continue the amazing drive that Terry and his family have to raise awareness and funds to conquer cancer.
Cancer is a game changer in many of our lives, affecting either us or the ones we love.
The Terry Fox Foundation is a low-administration cost organization relying on volunteers to promote the cause.
Come on out on Sept. 18 to the parking lot at the Gibsons and Area Rec Centre from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to honour Terry with your participation.
Go online to register and donate if you prefer or show up and throw in a loonie or two.
