The Rotary Club of Pender Harbour presents their Scotch tasting evening extravaganza Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Madeira Park Legion. The PH Community Club Annual Christmas Market Fundraiser is Saturday, Dec. 14 at the community hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A call out for donations for the White Elephant Tables, bake tables, silent auction, community sponsors and volunteers to help with the set up. Here are just a few highlights of the market: the return of the famous $5 lunch, special Bargain Barn tables loaded with great Christmas gifts and collectibles, Bargain Barn raffle tickets for sale, only $5 with terrific prizes! The winning tickets will be drawn before the market closes. Loads of exciting vendors for Christmas shopping, everything from crafts and art to food and drink and decor. Yummy bake sale organized by Patti Gaudet and her dedicated team of PH baking ladies. Door prizes. Silent auction. Kitchen open all day serving fresh coffee/tea, baking and the famous $5 lunch! It is going to be a busy Dec. 14. Two annual PHCC events will be happening on that day. The annual Christmas Market will be at the Hall, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Winterfest will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Government Dock in Madeira Park. The Carol Ships should be on the dock for viewing and judging . They will do their annual harbour cruise on Sunday, Dec. 15 at dark.
Dec. 15 the carol ships sail and the Pender Harbour Choir will sing at their Christmas Concert at 2 p.m. at PH School of Music. There will be a second performance Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. at Sunshine Coast Botanical Gardens in Sechelt. Tickets $25 at door, through a member of the choir or at EarthFair Store.
