Harbour Gallery will be open during April Tools with great discounts on last year’s work and, for the second year, featuring an exhibition of student work from Pender Harbour Secondary School. View the creations of the next generation of artists. Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Annual Plant and Garden and Vintage Sale will fill the Hall with botanical treasures 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The kitchen will be open with delicious offerings including the fabulous $5 lunch! Vendors will have amazing offerings too!
Egmont Heritage Centre’s annual general meeting is set for Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at the centre.

The unique duo of guitarist Charles Hobson and flautist Marie-Noelle Choquette hail from Montreal and have a stellar international reputation. They bring us an original repertoire that features music by composers who have used traditional dances, stories or songs to inspire their works, pushing the boundary of classical music. The enriched life we live here in the Harbour and Egmont area, with many services, events, arts and entertainment, activities are facilitated by the outstanding, hardworking volunteers in our communities. If you love Legacy Mushrooms like I do, you will want to attend Pender Harbour Garden Club’s get-together Monday, April 28, 1 p.m. at the School of Music. Amelia and Craig Dunn and James Ravensburg of Legacy Mushrooms will be speaking about their history, farming mushrooms, their benefits and future. $5 drop in and $20 annual membership to the Garden Club. All residents from Middlepoint to Egmont are invited to attend the community town hall hosted by the Pender Harbour and Area Residents Association (PHARA), taking place on April 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Madeira Park Community Hall. PHARA is a community-based non-profit dedicated to advocating for local governance and addressing the issues that matter most to residents. The town hall will offer a valuable opportunity for community members to stay informed, share input, and contribute to the future direction of Madeira Park and surrounding areas.
Those with a vested interest in local matters are encouraged to attend and hear updates from the PHARA board. An open mic session will follow, allowing attendees to raise topics of concern and suggest possible solutions. This event aims to foster open dialogue and encourage civic participation. The town hall will be followed by PHARA’s Annual General Meeting, open to members only.
