Time to gather all your documents and get ready to submit them for your 2023 income tax filing. Residents once again have the benefit of the Volunteer Income Tax Program, March 1 to April 30, 2024. Volunteers are trained to assist you with your income tax preparation. It’s a free service for eligible clients. A miracle happened in our community thanks to good, caring folks spending days and enormous effort helping rescue a baby racoon whose paw was caught and mangled in contraption of cruelty. She is not the first raccoon in our area that has suffered horrific torture because of specific residents abusing and attacking raccoons and other wildlife. Please do not use those Trex black traps or anything else that you have not researched. Huge thanks to all including Tammy Trefry, animal rescue expert and savior for leading the rescue.
