November 19, 1939 - March 28, 2023
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my wife of 64.5 years, Ruth. She was predeceased by her parents, and son Robert. She is survived by her husband Tony, son Ray, four grandchildren, and brother Mourice and wife Elaine.
Ruth and Tony settled in Coquitlam and made many lasting friendships. After retirement in 1989, they built a home in Gibsons, where they both enjoyed fishing and Ruth enjoyed part-time work at RBC, where she enjoyed camaraderie with the staff and customers. They were also longtime members of the Legion, attending the meat draws every Saturday and lunches on Tuesday.
Ruth’s death was sudden and unexpected, as she always enjoyed good health. Remember her with a smile and kind thoughts. She was a wonderful wife, great mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be missed.
