In loving memory of Matilda Elizabeth Morgan, a remarkable soul whose journey began in the United Kingdom and blossomed in the embrace of Canada. Matilda, fondly known to many as "Tilly," graced this world with her presence on March 10th, 1933, and her legacy continues to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.

With a heart as vast as the ocean and an adventurous spirit as resilient as the mountains, Tilly embarked on various paths throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark wherever she ventured. Her journey led her to the halls of academia, where she served as a laboratory technician at the University of Saskatchewan, contributing her expertise to the advancement of knowledge and nurturing the minds of future generations. Later, as the esteemed manager of a prominent department store, she exhibited not only professionalism and leadership but also an unwavering dedication to excellence.

Yet, amidst her professional endeavours, Matilda's greatest joy was found in the loving roles she held within her family. As a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Tom Morgan, and a nurturing mother to her cherished daughter, Janet Delisle, she exemplified the true essence of love and devotion. Her radiant warmth and boundless affection extended beyond her immediate family as Matilda embraced her role as a grandmother with unparalleled grace and enthusiasm. To her granddaughters, Chelsey Morgan and Bronwyn Hein, she was not only a source of endless love but also a beacon of wisdom and guidance. She also embraced the honour of being a grandmother to her grandson-in-law Sam Hein, Roisin Elworthy, and Lindsay Phelan and an honorary great-grandmother to Rhys and Layla Phelan. Matilda's journey in this earthly realm reached its peaceful conclusion on May 17th, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished memories and a legacy of love that will endure for generations. Her spirit remains ever-present in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her kindness, grace, and love. In honouring Matilda Elizabeth Morgan's life, let her memory continue to inspire us to embrace each day with love, compassion, and gratitude.

She is survived by her adoring daughter Janet Delisle and granddaughters Morgan and Bronwyn Delisle. Matilda now rests in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved husband, Tom Morgan, and son-in-law, Ken Elworthy, who preceded her in death. Matilda's legacy of love and kindness will forever illuminate our lives, guiding us through the darkness with the gentle glow of her spirit. Rest in peace,  Matilda, knowing that your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, now and always.
