A message from Lloyd:
I LOVED
SYLVIA, FAMILY, FRIENDS, WORK, CARS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lloyd was an honest, humble man who lived his 82 years (mostly) on the Coast. He built a family, countless custom cars, and innumerable friendships the length of Highway 101, and beyond.
Survived by sister Donna Thomas, sons Eli (Sarah) and Jason (Laena), and beloved grandchildren Nathan, Brook, Matthew, and Paige. Lloyd leaves behind Coasters Car Club, Sleepy Hollow Rod Run, Drag Races, Show ‘n Shines and the thriving local Industrial Arts community he was so proud to support.
Lloyd was a red seal Millwright, working most of his adult career at Port Mellon. As Maintenance Superintendent he fostered and guided apprenticeships, which actively helped build successful local families. In professional and personal life, he was ready with calm wisdom, or a caring shoulder. Lloyd could always be trusted to offer practical solutions or a helping hand. He always left people smiling. He always said he was ‘perfect’, and few disagreed.
In the thoughtful care of Dr. Wadge and Dr. Spithoff, and surrounded by loving family, Lloyd calmly left us to race along a new, unknown road. He will be deeply missed.
