March 29, 1945 - December 7, 2023
Linda Violet Jean McCormick Norris, mother to Robin Norris and her dog Bob, passed away on December 7th, 2023 after an amazing, passionate, fun and inspirational life. Her final moments could not have been more beautiful and were spent in the arms of her son with her loving sister and great friends Gillian and Neva (Leslie) at her side. It was perfect.
Known for her love of golf, theatre, laughing, shopping, card games and passion to help others, Linda's love for life and energy will forever endure as she inspired almost all who met her to make this world a better place. Instead of being missed, she challenges us all to be kind and helpful to others, live as stress free as possible and love life.
A celebration will be held at Gibsons Public Market on January 13th from 12-3pm. The family will receive friends there. As Linda continues to inspire and improve this world, she wanted us all to do the same. Instead of flowers or gifts, we have set up a Go Fund Me page under her name, Linda McCormick Norris. All proceeds will be donated in Linda's name to the St. Bart's Food Bank in Gibsons. They do need our help.

Although she has two aces, or holes-in-one on the the books, it is what she accomplished in this life and how she inspired those who knew her that truly hit the target. I will do all I can to "beat" you mom... you set the bar high.
