It is with profound sadness we announce that on February 19, Frank Elliott passed away surrounded by his loving family. We thank the staff at Silverstone Care Centre for all the care and support they provided. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humour, and unwavering support for his family. Always encouraging us to chase our dreams and face life’s challenges with courage. When he rewarded you with one of his smiles, it felt like you won a prize. After his professional life in the Lower Mainland, he and Marilynne retired to the Sunshine Coast. Frankie always found joy in art, restoring cars, skippering his restored Monk boat, going to classic car shows with his Intruders club buddies, working at the Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by Marilynne, his wife of 58 years, their children Samuel (Ruby) and Tanya (Mark), his cherished granddaughter, Olivia and countless others who were touched by his warmth and generosity. A celebration of Frankie’s life will be held March 16, 2025, 2pm at The Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club in Roberts Creek. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sechelt | shíshálh Hospital or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
