Eva Lois Penner was born in Bassano, Alberta and passed away at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, British Columbia.
Eva will be lovingly remembered by her lifelong companion, Lora Penner and her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Agatha, as well as siblings Frieda, Art, Alice, Irma and George.
Eva grew up in Rosemary, Alberta and later worked as a paralegal at numerous firms in Calgary, Montreal, Vancouver, and Houston. A woman navigating the corporate world in those years required perseverance and determination, which Eva had in spades.
After retiring, She and Lora spent their summers in Sechelt, B.C. and winters in Yuma, Arizona. In 2001, they moved to Oceana Parc in White Rock, BC.
Eva always said yes to any suggestion that hinted at being fun or adventurous! She appreciated and supported the arts, particularly the opera, travelling widely to attend productions.
Eva will be remembered for her keen intelligence, sense of humour and genuine care for others. She will be deeply missed.
