AKA Henry Dean Butler. Born February 5, 1945. Died suddenly and unexpectedly August 11, 2024.
As in life, Dean was surrounded by loving friends and family while in hospice. Always kind and generous he truly enjoyed people and he loved dogs.
His schoolmates from Lord Kitchener and Lord Byng in Vancouver are still an important part of his life, as are the families he knew from summers at Grantham’s Landing. Later, his bumwah buddies from the Sunshine Coast became equally important to him and their golfing trips were legendary.
He liked small town living and being able to greet people on the street by name. He was fortunate to meet many through his years in the insurance business.
A warm hearted guy with a big smile - he will be sorely missed by all.
