With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce the passing of Darlene. Predeceased by her parents, Babe and Delores, and brother Rick.
Survived by her children, David and Vanessa Schmidt, brother Doug and Bev, partner Dave and Little Buddy.
Born in Garden Bay and raised on the Coast, she worked in the hospitality sector. You may remember her from Golden City Restaurant, Blue Heron, Sechelt Legion, or her latest, Mason Place.
Dar loved travel, hot weather, beaches, swimming, and her beloved Toronto Blue Jays. The annual pig roast she always welcomed, to be with friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Sechelt Legion Hall.
