Next Saturday, Nov. 2, the Rotary Club of Pender Harbour will host its 12th annual Rotary Art Auction at the Garden Bay Hotel.

This event has become a favourite night out for many and a chance to either start a collection or build on an existing one.

An incredible group of artists participate in the auction. This year Rotarians are proud to showcase works by artists Motoko, George Pratt, Susan Point, Gloria Masse, Paul Ygartua, Helen Broadfoot, Sandy Kay, Wendy Simmons, Andy Cotton, Jesse Whitford, Carol Lafave and many more.

Hundreds of items from original paintings to pottery, First Nations art stone and wood sculpting will be available for bidding. There will be something for every taste and every budget. Seating is limited, so if you are going to attend, please participate in the auction so the Rotary Club can meet its goal. You don't have to buy anything, but you do have to bid.

The event is the Rotary Club's main fundraiser. To date the Club has raised more than $180,000 with the proceeds benefitting local youth and community projects and international projects such as exchange students and Polio International.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for viewing with the silent auction from 6 to 8 and the live auction starting at 8:30 p.m.

For further information or to donate or participate as an artist please contact Ron or Marita at the Garden Bay Hotel at 604-883-2674 or email [email protected].
