Join the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives for its second annual All Hallows Eve event on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 3 to 7 p.m.

The museum is once again collaborating with the Driftwood Players' Story Theatre troupe to bring this unique community event. For one night, the museum transforms into a spooky space full of gruesome games, creepy crafts, haunting Halloween heritage and eerie exhibits. This family-friendly event has something for everyone.

Up on the second floor, the theme of the evening is A Murder Mystery.

Barnabus Beelzebub has been planning to downsize the museum displays, and the resident ghosts have been getting anxious that their spot might be axed. Now, Beelzebub has gone missing, and it's your job to find out whodunnit.

Was it Relic or Molly at Molly's Reach? Was it Mr. Metalton in his blacksmith shop? Was it Mrs. Smith in her kitchen? Was it Mr. Clout the organist in the parlor? Or was it Dr. Dread, in his clinic?

For the faint at heart, the first floor is for you. There will be activity stations where you can dabble in fortune telling, fly a witch to the moon, make a monster puppet, decorate an orange pumpkin, or "air bob" for apples.

Be sure to dress up in a scary or creative costume. There will be a prize for the best children's Halloween costume. And for traditions sake we've got some treats to hand out too. Come and join us for the best Halloween ever! Admission is by donation.
