Well folks it looks like another exciting weekend at the Little Legion in the Creek. Tonight (Friday), April 4 enjoy Jim Taylor Dine' N Dance with all your favourite classic tunes from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Tonight (Friday), April 4 enjoy Jim Taylor Dine' N Dance with all your favourite classic tunes from the 50s, 60s and 70s. The Diner 219er crew will be serving their usual tasty fare beginning at 4:30 p.m. with music starting at 6:30 and then dancing from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Admission to dance after 6:30 is $5 for members and $10 for guests with members. Dinner is not included in admission.

On Saturday, April 5 at 9 p.m. enjoy Sundog with Joe Stanton, Simon Paradis and Trevor Antonyk. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for guests with members.

A call for vendors, environmental and community organizations, volunteers and donations as we celebrate Earth Day at the Roberts Creek Pier on Sunday, April 27 from noon to 5 p.m. Booth spaces are $10 to $30, environmental and community organizations free. The 6th Roberts Creek Scout Group is holding their annual manure fundraiser.

Partially composted manure by the bucket, bag or truckload is available by appointment. A pickup truck load is $25, 1/4 yard tractor bucket is $10, a 50 litre bag is $5 and a 20 litre bucket $2. Call 604-644-3833 for appointment.

A reminder that the Farm Gate Market is now open on Wednesdays, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Roberts Creek Hall. Drop by and meet with friends, have fun and go home with local and organic food.
