The Booty Camp Girls successfully offered its second annual Boudoir Rouge fundraiser event, which took place at the Roberts Creek Hall last Saturday.
The show was sold out with all proceeds going to the Sunshine Coast Community Services, Thyme Second Stage program.
Since 1995 the program has provided short-term housing, support, advocacy and counselling for women and their children, as well as individual women who have experienced abuse and who need additional support beyond a first-stage transition house.
Guests from all walks of life enjoyed a fashion show presented by SWISH, six colourful burlesque performances by the Booty Camp Girls and a silent auction table with more than 30 generous prizes provided by Sunshine Coast business owners.
The effort, time and donations put into this event brought in a total of $4,000. Boudoir Rouge is a one-of-a-kind event and 2015's show is already being planned.
