Beaver spotted at Smuggler Cove

A North American beaver pauses from grooming itself at Smuggler Cove Provincial Park on June 18. Among rodents, only the capybara of South America is bigger. Beavers are mainly nocturnal, so the most likely time to spot one is at or near dusk.
