Sunshine Toastmasters is inviting the community to its epic storytelling event on Monday night in Sechelt.

On May 27 from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Greencourt Hall on 5583 Ocean Avenue, Sechelt's best storytellers will regale the audience with tales of suspense, hilarity, intrigue, surprise, love and many other facets of humanity's walk on this planet. Special guest storytellers will include our most recent graduates of the Toastmasters youth leadership program, youth from the SPIDER home schooling program.

"These kids, our future leaders, will knock your socks off," said Paula Howley, president of Sunshine Toastmasters. "You are also invited to tell a story if you feel daring."

Please arrive early if possible and stay afterwards for refreshments and engaging conversation. Also feel free to bring a friend as a guest.

Toastmasters is an exceptional program in that it is a proven program designed to bring out the best in every speaker and every leader for a very modest price. Sunshine has had exceptional success in bringing forward world-class storytellers. Several members have been to the provincial public speaking contest finals on several occasions with their award-winning stories and even more have made it to the Vancouver finals.

"We groom champions here. We would love to have you enjoy the evening as our guests or as guest storytellers," said Howley.
