STORMY AFTERNOON: The winds picked up to 16 kilometres an hour today, Friday, January 10, with mostly clear skies and a temperature of nine degrees Celsius later in the afternoon. The photo was taken on the Westview sea walk.

The rain did not come, as predicted for today, Friday, January 10. Instead, the sun came out in the qathet region for most of the day, with a high daytime temperature of nine degrees Celsius.

Weatherhood indicates that winds picked up around 4 pm today with gusts up to 16 kilometres on the water. The sun set at 4:40 pm this afternoon and will rise on Saturday, January 11, at 8:10 am, with a daytime temperature of five degrees and a low nighttime temperature of three degrees.

Sunday, January 12, there will be sun and some clouds, and a low nighttime temperature of one degree. There is very little chance of rain this weekend.
