Folks gathered between Duncan Street and Alberni Street on Marine Avenue on Sunday, December 1, for the 2024 Santa Claus Parade.
This year's parade was hosted by the Rotary Club of Powell River and supported by Jennifer Konopelski from the Nutcracker Market, with performer Conni Smudge serving as parade marshal. People lined the streets and sidewalks to view the many decorated vehicles and floats, including a couple stand-out floats from Blue Agave Tequila Grill and Iguanas Mexican Grill.
Volunteers handed out candy to the many excited children and families who came out to support the parade.
