Kisses & kicks: Kicks for talking during movie, kisses to motorists for giving cyclists space

Here are the good deeds (and not so good deeds) that happened in our Coast community this week!
Kisses & Kicks
Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of Aug. 23!

Basket full of kisses to all the motorists who give space to cyclists when there is no shoulder or debris and pot holes are in the shoulder

Kisses to all firefighters from near or far. Also thank you to the communities who look after our firefighters with food, water and a place to pitch their tent while away from home.

Kisses to the missing bears and wildlife missing their forest home on Reed Rd, Gibsons.

Kisses to Claytons Heritage Market for consistently supporting this local newspaper with their advertising. This is the shop I want to support!

Kicks to the people  on motorized vehicles on the sidewalk along the beach here in Sechelt. It’s no place to be speeding amongst people on the popular walkway.

Kicks to the group of people who kept talking during the Deadpool movie at the Raven's Cry.

Grateful ksses to Emergency staff for the efficient, gentle care I received Aug. 1.

Kisses to Travis for rescuing a woman and two kids who were in an inflatable (beach toy) raft.  The wind had pushed them a half mile offshore and because of the tide and wind, they were unable to make any headway rowing back to shore.  Travis towed them safely back to shore.

Many beer, wine and spirit kisses to all the B.C. liquor store employees (and their spouses/partners) who threw a surprise party for us after we got married 21 years ago. We think of you often. – Leslie and Michele

Kisses to the staff at Lifelabs in Gibsons. They are always friendly, cheerful, efficient and thorough even though I am sure they do the same blood tests and ECGs more than a 100x a day! Thank you for being there!

Kisses to New Coast Construction for their quality work for three happy seniors, Jo, Helen, and Wendy…well done.

A huge boat load of kisses to the boaters who towed us into Coopers Green when our boat wouldn't start. You saved the day!!

Kicks to our new neighbor who thinks it’s acceptable to do burn outs and race around the block revving his drag racer.

Loud cheers to all members of the Coast Music Theatre Company and the musicians who gave us so much pleasure with their superb Broadway Tunes performances.
