Kisses and Kicks: Winkle-picker booted kicks to litterbugs, kisses for compassion with headstone plaque

Here are the good deeds (and not so good deeds) that happened in our Coast community this week!
Kisses & Kicks
Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of October 11!

  • Kisses to ferry workers Dan and Quinn at the Langdale terminal for spotting my almost flat tire and going the extra mile to find a portable compressor to inflate it. Thanks to you I made it safely on the ferry! Your kindness and competence are much appreciated.
  • Powerful winkle-picker booted kicks to all the litterbugs who think it is okay to leave cans and fishing line at Chapman Creek, Brookman Park and Mission Point Beach.
  • Kisses thank you to Rhowena and Dr. Patrick McRoberts at Beach House Optometry for being amazing!!
  • Everlasting thanks, Paul. On the busiest day of your week: “I’ve things to do. I’ll come now.” Light shone and recycling got seventeen outdated bulbs and fixtures.
  • Kicks to people who bring their pets to work. The office of a doctor, dentist or any food establishment is not a doggie day care, it is a professional work environment. Many people are allergic to or have had a bad experience with dogs or cats and are uncomfortable with their presence.
  • Kisses to the Us’s and We’s. Kicks to the I’s and Me’s. Cooperation makes us all happier and more prosperous.
  • Kicks to the older lady that drove out of Wood Creek Park in a small white car not stopping, cutting into traffic doing 80 km and you doing 40. Think about it!
  • Kicks to the blonde fellow and his friend walking on Reed Rd side by side facing the traffic. At least go single file when traffic is coming as no room to move over for you with traffic coming other way. Or use the path on other side.
  • Kisses to Jennie from Best Friends Pet Market for being so kind friendly and sharing. The Bee Guy.
  • Grateful kisses to the caring helpers and well-wishers who got me back on the road after church.
  • Special thanks to Sandy (the Angel) and Conchita (Golden Girl).
  • Kisses to the men from the “Crazy Indian Brotherhood” who came to my aid during Orange Shirt Day.
  • Kicks to the woman with the large black SUV who parked right beside the “No Parking Fire Lane” sign blocking traffic so she could go shopping at the pet food store. Do you not have respect for others?
  • Grateful to the owner at Suncoast Lock & Trophy for his generosity and compassion re: my father’s headstone plaque. Very much appreciated!
