Here are your kisses and kicks for the week of March 21!
- Kisses to Randy from Olsen Electric for helping to ensure I got my electrical problem solved!
- Kisses to the wonderful lady who returned my purse to London Drugs Friday, March 7. We need more people in the world like you.
- Kisses and grateful warm hugs to the amazing VCH Palliative Team for all their support, love, and advocacy for our Mum, Colleen. Additional kisses to the hardworking staff at Sechelt hospital and Dr. Jaschinski for keeping her comfortable during her final days. Colleen loved ‘Kisses and Kicks’ so this one is from/for her!
- Heartfelt kisses to Jaylene Scheible for her leadership, and general awesomeness, supporting the Sunshine Coast Street Degree Program. These folks are so often marginalized and vilified....Jaylene, in championing people to help people, is creating community and helping people to help people. Jaylene shines in her role.
- Springtime kisses to our kind neighbour across the street, Michael, for planting a lovely patch of daffodils along his driveway. They are absolutely glowing right now! Neighbours Cathy and Kristy.
- Innumerable hugs and kisses to the doctor, nurses, and other staff at Sechelt Hospital early Saturday morning. I arrived at 5:30am Saturday morning in considerable pain. After a short wait they attended my needs with competence, compassion, and understanding. The medical system is certainly under stress; don’t have family doctor anymore which is problematic being a disabled senior, however, once treatment/care is provided, it is excellent.
- Kisses to Rhiannon of Marmalade Animal Rescue Society for her sage advice and guidance as we added two kittens to our family. We’re over the moon with our sweet girls!
- Kisses to the care aids and staff at Christiansen Village who work so hard to provide attention and care to their residents. They are understaffed and exhausted but are always smiling.
