Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of January 5!
- Kisses to the cheery Santa who whistles so sweetly outside the Wilson Creek IGA. (Editor kicks to herself for misreading a submission as “cheesy” Santa. Sorry!)
- A big thank you to Joseph, Chief Steward BC Ferries, colleagues and other workers for assisting me with a lost property related issue recently. Your kindness and professionalism, is very much appreciated. Robyn, visitor from New Zealand
- Big Christmas kisses to Debbie at Pharmasave for helping out with stocking stuffers for Totem, Shorncliffe, 2 South and Mental Health (2nd floor hospital). On behalf of the hospital auxiliary, thanks so much, we greatly appreciate everything.
- Kisses to Deluxe Landscape Supply for donating 20 beautiful centre pieces to the Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre Christmas lunch.
- Kisses to Mrs. Claus and her band of elves up at Cypress Ridge for helping to make a paper man’s holiday merry.
- Love and light to a friend on her healing journey, embarking on chemo. Take your badass short haircut and kick cancer’s butt. You are a light in the world with such a beautiful heart.
- A big flush of kisses to the District of Sechelt for installing a much needed Sani-Dump Station on Dusty Road this past year. Super convenient and clean facility. Pooray!
- Kisses to Clayton’s Bakery for my daughter’s amazing, beautiful and delicious unicorn birthday cake!! Huge success!
- Kisses: a friend’s emergency call was responded to so professionally and quickly. It was a false alarm, but it was taken care of with such kindness.
- Kisses to the wonderful crew who replaced the bridge over Gibson Creek on Mt Elphinstone Sidewinder Trail, complete with guarding troll.
- Holiday happiness to Daniel of Mark’s Work Warehouse for his outstanding assistance in finding my 16-year-old nephew his coveted black hooded jacket! P.S. all staff there are wonderful!
- Kicks to the driver in the black Tesla who drove up to our driveway and filled our garbage can with all their holiday waste. Shame on you for sharing your trash rather than your holiday spirit!
